Running to God is an independent, non-commercial Christian documentary memoir and faith outreach authored by Brian Larwood. We believe your spiritual search and online presence belong solely to you. We do not collect, harvest, track, profile, monetize, or sell personal data from anyone visiting this website.

01.INDEPENDENT MINISTRY STATUS

Running to God operates as an independent, non-denominational personal Christian outreach. We are not owned, funded, governed, or operated by any denominational organization or institutional church body. All content represents the personal outback expedition, Biblical reflections, and faith journey of Brian Larwood.

02.ZERO TRACKING & NO ADVERTISING NETWORKS

Unlike commercial websites, Running to God runs zero tracking, marketing, or surveillance code:

  • No Analytics Telemetry: We do not use Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, or cross-site behavioral telemetry.
  • No Advertising Cookies: We do not partner with advertising networks, programmatic ad exchanges, or retargeting pixels.
  • No Device Fingerprinting: We do not inspect device hardware, canvas rendering, or battery APIs to profile visitors.

03.COOKIES & EU ePRIVACY DIRECTIVE (2002/58/EC)

Under Article 5(3) of the European Union ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC as amended), consent banners are only required for non-essential tracking cookies. Because Running to God sets no non-essential tracking cookies:

Exclusively Technical Local Storage: The only client-side data used is strictly necessary functional storage saved on your local device (such as remembering your chosen dark theme or caching devotions via a progressive web app service worker for offline outback reading).

This functional data never leaves your browser and is never transmitted to any external server.
